Back in June, the GADC Annual Meeting attendees wrote personal pledges to forge a legacy for Greenville County and "planted" them beneath a live oak, generously donated by Heritage Landcare.

That same tree has found its permanent home at Conestee Nature Preserve. It is a living symbol of 25 years of economic growth and the community commitment that will carry Greenville County into its next chapter.

Just as this oak will grow stronger with time, so will the roots our community has planted together. Next time you're at Conestee, stop by and see it for yourself!

We’ve been listening.

Recently, the GADC has been hosting roundtable discussions with local industry leaders to dive deep into the real challenges businesses are facing today—especially around workforce recruitment and retention.

Our takeaway is clear: you shouldn't have to navigate these hurdles alone. Through our Industry Engage program, our goal is to listen to your needs and connect you with the right resources, programs, and community partners to solve them.

Let's work together to keep your business moving forward. Reach out directly to our team at [email protected] to learn more or get involved in our next discussion.

Greenville County's life sciences momentum keeps building, thanks to Greenville City Economic Development Corporation! 🔬

Yesterday, GNQ Insilico, a biotech company using AI, quantum computing, and digital twin technology to predict patient treatment responses, cut the ribbon on their new lab at the Clemson University Biomedical Engineering Innovation Campus (CUBEInC) at Prisma Health's Patewood Campus. It's their first move toward bringing their corporate headquarters to the Upstate.

Welcome to Greenville, GNQ Insilico! 🎉

Is your organization keeping pace with regional compensation trends?

Employers Network, in partnership with Greenville Chamber, is conducting the 2026 Southeast Compensation Survey and we want your participation!

The survey, conducted annually for more than 15 years, is free, open through July 31, and organizations that complete it in full will receive a complimentary copy of the final report.

They are especially looking to hear from HR Managers, HR Assistants, HR Directors, and Payroll personnel in the following sectors: Manufacturing, Logistics, Medical, and Retail/Hospitality, but all Upstate employers are encouraged to participate!

Data like this helps Upstate employers make informed decisions about salaries, benefits, and workforce competitiveness.

Register here to participate and add your voice to the region's most valuable compensation resource: employersnet.com/surveys

The 2026 Southeast Compensation Survey will open for submissions on Monday, April 27, 2026. All data should be reported as of April 26, 2026. The survey will remain open through June 5, 2026.
