Downtown Ministries It is supported by local churches, individuals and businesses.

Downtown Ministries is a tax-exempt charitable organization created in 1994 as an avenue for area Christians to meet and minister to the Greenville area community. Downtown Ministries is governed by a board of directors made up of community members with a heart for the Greenville area and a love for Jesus Christ. As a para-church ministry, the ultimate goal of Downtown Ministries and the groups serving under its umbrella, are to be used as a vehicle through which God might bring individuals to come to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. From there we encourage people to connect with a local church and to be discipled in the Christian faith.
