The Greenville (SC) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University, the
Sorority is currently a sisterhood of more than 2

00,000 predominately Black college educated
women. This includes over 900 chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Republic of Korea. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Physical and Mental Health, Educational Development, Political Awareness and Involvement, and International Awareness and Involvement. Yesterday, GSCAC gathered for our annual Roundup, an afternoon filled with sisterhood, fellowship, laughter, food, and connection as we prepare for a new sorority year. What an amazing time we had!

We came together, reconnected with our sisters, and prepared for another year of service, scholarship, and impact.

New year. Renewed energy. Same unwavering commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action. ❤️🤍 Here’s to another year of making an impact together!

Round Up, Reconnect, and Get Ready for an Amazing Sorority Year!

Join your sorors as we kick off the new sorority year with an afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship! This is the perfect opportunity to reconnect, celebrate the start of a new year of service, and take care of important chapter business.

During Chapter Roundup:
* Chapter dues will be collected.
* Chapter shirt and name tag orders will be accepted.
* Enjoy great food, meaningful fellowship, and exciting opportunities to reconnect with your sisters.

Lunch will be available for individual purchase from two on-site food truck vendors. The chapter will not collect payment for food or beverages.

Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and friends of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated! Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures who are a constant source of strength and support for their families.

We also hold space for those who are grieving, remembering, or honoring the fathers they carry in their hearts.

Today we honor the legacy of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas who were finally informed of their freedom, some two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. It was those people, and the generations of Texans who came after them, who made the bold declaration to celebrate this day, marking a reality we know far too well in this country: freedom may be delayed, but it will never be denied.

Though our fight for freedom sadly continues, today we pause to celebrate and embrace the joy of our ancestors who believed in the possibilities of a more promising tomorrow. And in that joy, we remain anchored, steadfast in our pursuit of true freedom and justice for all.
