A shout out for women and girls! Thanks to everyone who is working on raising awareness and advocating for women and girls who bleed.
Our Chapter is dedicated to help assure our women and girls are not left out when it comes to diagnosis, treatment, and research inclusion.
Our voices are being heard!

Too often, heavy bleeding is dismissed as “normal.” Now, women with bleeding disorders and providers in the community are speaking up — and changing how care is understood.

Day 3 of the National Bleeding Disorder Conference (BDC) brought a wealth of education and support for the Chapters throughout the nation and sessions of interest for everyone; including new treatments, advocacy, research, policy, access barriers, bleeding disorders specific education, and so much more.

Today, we will embrace additional sessions and information gathering, with the awards ceremony and final night community event closing out the extraordinary national conference.

As always, with community at the forefront, the 2026 NBDF BDC has been fantastic and we are honored and so privileged to be here as a voice for South Carolina!
