Hi Everyone,

I would like advice from you fine folks please!

I’d like our Chamber of Commerce to host a Zoom E Meeting with all of our Restaurant Owners / Managers in our city to discuss the Caronavirus, it’s impact on the industry, and how this plan to open up will unfold for us and what our game plans are moving ahead.
I think we could expand this to include all businesses effected by the virus.
In your opinion, what are some good talking points to bring up to facilitate the most productive discussion?

I’ve considered the issue of employees not wanting to return to work do to the amount of money made on unemployment, bars still not being allowed to open and what that distinction will be, as well as delivery and to go fees adding to the cost of business.
Many other of you will see your cost of daily business go up as well.
What are your concerns?

Any other ideas are very welcome!!

We recently held an open house for our newly remodeled Grand Rapids office. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us in our celebration and to those who shared their well wishes, too! GMB Architecture + Engineering partnered with Erhardt Construction and Custer to update our facility and we love it!

Special thanks the Grand Rapids Chamber for hosting our ribbon cutting. We also appreciate Above & Beyond Catering and Bars by Butch for the Michigan-inspired appetizers and beverages. We were entertained by the lovely voices of the Girls Choral Academy middle school singers and the interactive photobooth from Randy Finch and Iceguru Event services Ice Sculptures and Photo Booths. Thank you to jenQphotography for the gorgeous photos! We are grateful to be a part of this community for 77 years and thank you for your support!
