Student United Way YVC Student United Way YVC Other service opportunities may range from campus and community beautification projects to working with Habitat for Humanity.

YCV is designed to engage high school students and get them involved and interested in their community through frequent and diverse supervised service projects. Students in the program will receive volunteer training and be able to serve as mentors and tutors to younger students in the surrounding community as part of a drop-out prevention strategy. As students participate in service projects and

team building activities through Student United Way-YVC, they will have the chance to meet other area high school students and community memebers as well as develop leadership skills and positive character traits.
