A photo from last year: 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Historic Quaker Bridge Park, 178 Williamson Road, after controlled brush burn for practice by area volunteer firefighters. Now, 19 months later, the skills learned and practiced that Spring afternoon have since been put to the test on numerous brush and grass fire emergencies.
