We are still feeling the magic from our 15th Annual Eggs Benefit! ✨

Last Thursday, CDS welcomed a record number of guests to the Poinsett Club for an unforgettable and inspiring morning. Together we celebrated 15 years of the CDS Eggs Benefit, and we heard compelling stories of growth and success that remind us why this work matters.

To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and cheered us on: THANK YOU! You are the reason the magic continues at CDS. We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and generous community.

Here's some more information about Dominic:

Hometown: Cincinnati, OH

How did you get engaged in CDS? My family and I were moving from OH to SC and looking at local Greenville charities to get involved. As a parent to four children, the CDS mission resonated with me quickly. The saying "it takes a village to raise a child" feels spot on. After touring CDS, I saw this welcoming village first hand and the impact it had on the community to house all these medical services for developmental delays under one roof. I am fortunate enough to be on the board for the past three years and will continue to stay connected, even though we just moved back from SC to OH this summer.

Fun Fact about you: This has been the summer of roller coasters as our youngest has hit the 54" mark. We have been to 3 Six Flags Parks this summer with plans for 1-2 more by season's end.

Where do you work and what do you do? I work at Total Quality Logistics and the mission is to help shippers move theirproduct from point A to point B with ease and full visibility.

Mark your calendar for our biggest fundraiser of the year! You won't want to miss the 15th annual Eggs Benefit! RSVP to [email protected].

The event will be held at the Poinsett Club on Thursday, October 1st, and a buffet breakfast will be served from 7:30-8 am. The program starts promptly at 8 am and will end at 9 am. It will be a great way to start your day!

Our two special guest speakers are Dr. Desmond Kelly and Marc Metcalf. Dr. Desmond Kelly is a renowned developmental and behavioral pediatrician who has made an indelible impact on our community and the world of developmental pediatrics. You will also hear from Marc Metcalf, a grateful CDS parent and advocate who is also the dad of one of our CDS stars.
