⚔️💙 BIG BLUE IS ALMOST HERE! 💙⚔️

We’re kicking off the 2026 Big Blue Fundraiser on Thursday, August 27th with a $2 Dress Down Day! 🎉

💵 Dress Down Day is CASH ONLY! PTSA volunteers will be collecting the $2 Thursday morning during drop-off, so send your Knight with $2 cash and they can ditch the uniform for the day!

👕 Students must still follow the normal GCS dress code guidelines.

🎟️ The Big Blue online raffle will be LIVE beginning August 27th and will run through September 10th at 8:00 PM.

📬 Students will bring home more information this week about the fundraiser, raffle, and all the fun incentives they can earn along the way.

💙💛 Help us make Beck’s Big Blue Fundraiser BIG! 💛💙

We’re looking for donations from local businesses, families, and community members to help us create some amazing raffle packages for this year’s Big Blue Fundraiser!

And here’s the important part: a donation doesn’t have to be huge to make a difference. We’ll combine donated items to create fun, one-of-a-kind packages, so there are LOTS of ways to help!

🎁 Gift cards to local businesses
👕 Business-branded shirts, towels, drinkware & merchandise
🏈 Sporting event tickets, merchandise or experiences
🎮 New video games, consoles & accessories
⛳ Golf rounds, gear & accessories
🏨 Hotel stays, dining experiences & more!

Have something else in mind? We’d love to hear about it! Goods, services, experiences, and unique items can all help make our raffle packages even better.

Every donation helps the Beck Academy PTSA support our students, teachers, and school through classroom mini-grants and reimbursements, International Day, Student Appreciation Day, the 8th Grade Dance, and so much more.

📚 Uniform Reminder, Blue Knight Families! 💙💛

As we get ready for the school year, here’s a quick reminder of Beck Academy’s uniform expectations to help make the first days of school as smooth as possible!

✔️ Tops: Solid-colored collared shirts (any color) with sleeves and no large logos.
✔️ Bottoms: Khaki, black, or navy only. No jeans, sweatpants, athletic pants, or pajama pants. Shorts must be fingertip length.
✔️ Outerwear: Solid color with no large logos. Remember—a collared shirt must be worn underneath.

Taking a few minutes to double-check uniforms now can help avoid dress code issues once school starts.

⚔️ Rising 6th Grade Families—Knight SHIFT is coming!

Starting middle school is a big transition, and Beck Academy is here to help. Join us for Knight S.H.I.F.T. (Schools Helping In Family Transition) on August 10 as students and families get a head start on life as a Blue Knight.

Meet teachers, explore the building, learn about expectations and supports, and get answers to your questions before the first day of school.

⭐ Good news for parents: You do not need to stay the entire time. Parent programming concludes at 10:00 AM, while students continue participating in activities until 12:30 PM.

It's the perfect time to check those school supply lists and stock up while qualifying school supplies are tax-free. 📚✏️🎒
