Bad weather didn't hinder our Community Impact Day. It may have been pouring rain, but inside we were full of sunshine! Pastor Alex Sands, our board chairman, opened our time together in prayer, joined by two supporting pastors, Donn Kilgore and Darren Smith. Special thanks to the Set-Up Crew, led by Sarah Schurman, our executive assistant, and Teri Reuvers, our program admin assistant, who arrived early to prepare the space despite the weather, and to our CLC information booth volunteers, who greeted everyone with smiles.
From sweet fellowship with friends to shopping with our incredible vendors, it was a delightful day! Laughter and a hum of conversation filled the gym, reminding us how this Community Impact Day brings people of all ages together.
There is still time to be a part of CLC and help reach our fundraising goal. Just use this link to donate: https://igfn.us/form/gGdCew
We want to thank Morningside Baptist Church once again for letting us use their facilities and for all the help they provided as we quickly pivoted our plans because of the rain.
Thank you to our sponsors: Blue Letter Bible (who were there at the event), Guest & Brady Attorneys At Law, and Compu-Counting, Inc., for helping us have such a meaningful event.
Also, a special shout-out to The Liberty Boys, who provided incredible music during the event. All in attendance were blessed by their songs.
