After Thursday, our restaurant at Hampton Station will be CLOSED from Friday-Sunday while we move our Georgian deliciousness downtown as a vendor for the Bank of America Fall for Greenville festival! It’s a busy month and we hope you’ll be a part of it!

Our restaurant is a better place when someone is sharing their musical talents under our roof, so please help us welcome Fiorela and her collaborators as they make their Keipi debut this Wednesday! From 6:30-8:30, they will accompany our W**e Wednesday with a live music performance. As always, we will celebrate the arrival of a new week with half-priced w**e glasses all night.

Walk-ins welcome! No w**e tasting this month, but Michael will be around to offer Georgian w**e and toasts to our guests this Wednesday.

Come on out for Georgian food & bev at Hampton Station before we move ourselves outside the old Sticky Fingers on Main St. for Bank of America Fall for Greenville! It’s diagonally across the intersection from our spot last year.

Counting down the days until Bank of America Fall for Greenville! Just a little over a week and we’ll be filling the downtown air with the aroma of scratch-made, fresh-baked khachapuri! You’ve seen these Guardians bottles on W**e Wednesdays before, but do you know the stories of these ladies on the labels? 🇬🇪🍷

On the left, Rkatsiteli (white) — Lela

“Our Rkatisteli label honors Lela, one of Georgia’s legendary woman warriors. In 1659, Lela, the daughter of a famous warrior, stepped forward to join the effort to liberate Georgia from foreign warlords, but was refused because she was a woman.

One warrior, Kviria, knew that the effort could not succeed without Lela’s help, and devised a plan to strike by stealth. Lela perished in the fray, but not before opening the gates and leading the way for a Georgian victory.”

On the right, Saperavi (red) — Maia

“Our Saperavi label honors Maia who is Georgia’s cross between Mulan and Robin Hood. Maia fled from a corrupt baron to the woods, where she dressed as a man, stole from him, and gave to the poor.

When foreign invaders came, she joined the army where, thanks to her skill, she rose to a leadership position and helped defend Georgia. At the end she revealed her true identity to great amazement.”
