MIXER alert!! Next Saturday night. Mixer beginning at 6 pm! As most of you know, our own Lewis Butler Jr. has had some health problems in the last few weeks, but we are hopeful he will be released from the hospital this week. He means the world to our CCC tennis community, so we are going to host a mixer next Saturday night with ALL proceeds going to Lewis for his medical care and related expenses. There’s no set entry fee to play next Saturday- just whatever you want to donate to the cause!! Nonmembers are welcome! Let’s have a big crowd for Lewis!! - j cox

Bayou Academy and Pillow Academy take over the courts today in Jackson as both schools bring home the State 5A Championship trophies. Great job to the Lady Mustangs and to the Colts.

Congratulations to the Pillow Academy Lady Mustangs and the Bayou Academy Colts for bringing the girls and boys North 5A State Championship trophies back to the delta. Keep making us all look good across our state.

Our local girls tennis teams showed out today in the MAIS 5A State Tennis Tournament.

The Bayou Academy Lady Colts claim the title as 2023 5A State Champions while the Pillow Academy Lady Mustangs bring home the 5A runner up title. Congratulations girls and great job to all these young ladies and coaches. Keep playing the sport of a lifetime.
