Our grandfathers, when boys, traveled about in carriages in much the same fashion as pharaoh did 3500 years ago. A man in his 80s can remember when there was no automobiles no telephone no electric light no photograph no radio no television. At that time the industrial revolution had just begun.
It was the turn of the century that we got the airplane, radio, and television, as well as many other electronic devices, we now take for granted, are also marvels of the 20th century. (I found this written in the pages of my Bible, with this reference) In
Nahum 2:3-5: we see the prophecy of automobiles, and some of us have been around

“You are to take me at my word. I have never allowed you to fail; even when you thought you did, — you didn’t. I have allowed you to take part in a great time of life for a Christian.
My word tells you, Abraham would have rejoiced to have seen this day. When you think the battles are strong and hard, remember how I caused you to live in this time and place.”

I came across a message that I ministered back some years ago on my radio program, Woman of God. I was struggling about how to end the message and I really wanted God‘s mind in it so I began to pray and ask the Lord what to do. He spoke this to me: “Now trust me to give you the ending of this message. The reason you have struggled with it is because it is about the exposing of the enemies plans. It exposes the fact that although he goes after the destruction of my own creation, I will take his reigns and he can do nothing about it. It is always that I am in control of my children’s destiny even though they rush ahead and bring delay to their own hurt. I will always succeed in my way of doing things. I know you don’t always see that I am in charge, but I even use his plans to fulfill my purpose. He thinks he is a match for me, but he has never been a match for the one who created him he is your enemy, but I use him as a puppet in my plans. He thinks he controls the life of a sinner; but only fools himself into thinking it. I am always coaxing and turning the sinner here and there to see the truth and come to my plan of salvation and freedom from the bo***ge Satan Has them trapped in. You see it all through the scriptures. As you see it, I am actually revealing it to you. The devil has no power over me and my plans. I just use him. The sinner has a will to choose, but I’ll allow him to be moved here and there: but the ultimate choice is up to him to choose me in my life for him, or Satan’s. I make sure though, that that sinner has had every chance to seek the right direction. I move him here and there, and watch over him like a shepherd, his sheep, but with the greatest love and care that no one can match. Yes, the devil thinks he is in charge here, but I never give him full power. Yes, the devil thinks he is in charge. Here he is the prince and power of air, but he will never be the king. I have the plans for his destruction, always in the mind. He knows my plan, but thinks he has the power to beat it. He is never in charge of my creation never!
It is important that my children know and understand this. This is not a new revelation, but a revelation, long forgotten by man. I am ready for this to be revealed to my church.”

While reading in Philippians Chapter 4; I spotted a hand written note at the end of the chapter: “Sow peace: stay away from criticism and strife.” This was a profound word for me. It’s easy to fall into a trap Satan has planned for any who desire to please God. Take this with you today, my dear friends. I plan too.

As I was focusing on a situation that looked hopeless to me, where others were involved. I was thinking, “that’s hopeless!” I then looked over at my open Bible and my eyes, fell on a highlighted verse in Jeremiah 32:27-which read, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all FLESH: is there anything too hard for me?”
“This,” I said in prayer, “Is a FLESH thing. So, yes, Lord, nothing is too hard for You. I turn this over to You, in Jesus’ Name.”
My Dear Friend, Whatever is causing you worry: Cast it on over to the Lord, for He cares for you and have a worry free blessed life today.

DON’T LOSE YOUR VISION! As I was turning a little calendar in my sunroom, where I pray, I came across this quote:
“ The Holy Spirit helps us to discern what is true and right from what is unhealthy and wrong. With him, we have every resource to walk in hope and freedom.”
The scripture verse that went along with this was in Romans, chapter 15 verse four:
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Verse 13- Now the God of hope (source of hope) fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Friends, this made me think about the periods of time when people lose their focus and they begin to forget the fact that we are to keep our VISION which God gave us from the beginning: from the beginning of our call to the ministry.
So I encourage you to remember that VISION and ask God to RENEW it or REFRESH it in your heart and in your mind, and keep your focus on God’s plan.

I ran across this handwritten note in my Bible, while looking for a reference on seeking God (not knowing the author, but it was so well said and true):
“ Without any sympathy for sin, there must still be real compassion and love for the sinner. When this is lacking, little help can be given.
Even among Christian leaders ( who are Satan’s target), there are victims who need loving help rather than cold, indifference or scorn. — The enemy of our souls, does not strike where men and women are strong and noble. He knows where they are weak and mean and vulnerable, he strikes there.”
