Thats a wrap folks!
We had a truly blessed year and we made so many great friends and memories. From late-night talks to worship nights to the random in-between moments, this community has meant more than I can put into words. Grateful for the people, the growth, and everything God has done this year.

The Passing of Ms. Ann Davis:
Friends,

Many of you may be aware, but we wanted to share that Ms. Ann Davis has joined the Church Triumphant. Saturday evening, her journey here ended. 

For those of you who did not know Ms. Ann, she was the chair of the Wesley Board for many years. Even prior to that, she was a long-time supporter of and advocate for college students and campus ministry. In 2024, when Ms. Ann stepped down as Chair of the Wesley Board, we decided to rename our Wesley Scholarship in her honor.

While sharing the news, David Godwin, our current Board Chair, included a quote from a fellow Wesley alum that I believe many Wesley students can relate to: “She was my best friend in college. As one of the students whose life she touched, I thank God for the time I had with her. Her kindness left a mark on so many people.”

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Ann is set for Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. James UMC in Greenville. The service will be live-streamed on the church’s YouTube if you are unable to join. Please share this with any GreenvilleWesley student, alumni, or friends of Wesley that you might talk to regularly.

Wesley Weekly Recap:
This week at Wesley we started Wednesday worship off with recognizing our seniors (Aaliyah, Sydney, Jacob, and Ryan) with special gift bags to remember their time at Wesley (Pictures 1-2). After the recognizing our seniors we all enjoyed Chick-fil-A with card games and joined in communion together (pictures 3-6). The officers were also treated to lunch at La Rancherita on Thursday by Pastor Jason for all their hard work! (Picture 7)

Wesley Weekly Recap:
This week at Wesley students put together bags for the needy on Wednesday (picture 1) after students worshipped with an amazing message from Aaliyah! (Pictures 2-4). On Thursday during tabling Clay and Sam found Mr. Beast and were in one of his videos (pictures 5-6). Lastly students joined together for bowling at the bowlero (pictures 7-8). Join us next week for our last official week!

We’re talking about how things that feel impossible for us are possible with God.
For this, I’m making a painting without using any brushes on purpose. It’s a reminder that even when we feel limited, God can still make something good come out of it.”

Wesley Weekly Recap:
This week at Wesley Elijah and Jeanna started off their bible studies on Monday that both went amazing! On Wednesday students made lunch bags for the in need and after took a break on the swings. We had an excellent time eating olive garden and worshiping together. Join us next week for bowling and more fun!

Wesley Weekly Recap:
Last week we Wesley Wednesday was a big hit with learning about Maundy Thursday and playing D&D. On Wednesday before worship Zach and his group helped put together lunch bags for the in need. Elijah and Jeanna also did bible studies learning about faith and studying the bible.
