The Nehemiah Initiative The Vision of the Nehemiah Initiative is to rebuild the families of our community as if they are our own. The Nehemiah Initiative has two primary objectives.

First, we desire to walk beside single parent families empowering them to break challenging cycles and gain the necessary skills and resources to advance confidently into a healthy, hopeful future. To do this we employ a care team approach that works to access a families needs across a variety of disciplines and then tackle them systematically over a period of time. Second, we seek to combat systemic fatherlessness and its effects by helping encourage, challenge, and develop the growth of boys into mature men. We consider a mature man an individual who lives courageously, rejects passivity, accepts responsibility, and finishes the course.

Bring the whole family out for a day of hands on arts activities, musical and dance performances, and full on creativity!

Saturday, October 17th from 10:00am to 4:00pm
South Central High School, 470 Forlines Road, Winterville, NC
FREE and Open to the Public. Free onsite parking.

🤱 Pathways is our program specifically designed to support, empower, encourage and provide a community for single moms.

🪷 Bloom is a monthly enrichment night where women from across our community can be seen, experience healthy community, and grow. Each Bloom night will include dinner, a meaningful lesson that empowers both the heart and mind of women, and specific take-away applications.
