And with that, the 2025-2026 school year comes to an end! It as been a wonderful year and we are so thankful for the support of our school staff and school families!🐊🍦🌞🌴

Our amazing WGI PTA Board Members will also betaking some time to recharge and enjoying the summer. We will check messages and emails periodically throughout the summer, but our responses may be slower than during the school year.

Be sure to check back here at the start of August as our SPIRIT ROCK weeks will go on sale, and we will begin sharing back to school & Open House information! We hope all of our Gators stay safe and have a wonderful summer!

Our Final Monday of the year is here! As we close out the school year, we want to say thank you to our Wintergreen students, staff and families for a great year. The WGI PTA had a lot of fun and were able to give back to our school in so many ways because of your support! Here’s a Month-by-Month look at what we were able to accomplish together.

Aloha, Wintergreen families! 🌴🌺

What an absolutely incredible Friday night! Our Luau-themed 5th Grade Dance was a massive success, and we are still riding the wave of all that amazing energy. It was a joy to see all of our 5th-grade Gators dressed up, looking sharp, and ready to celebrate their hard work this year as they wrap up their unforgettable time at Wintergreen Schools! 🐊✨

An event this special takes a village, and we have some major thank-yous to send out to the superstars who made it all possible:

Our Amazing Parent Volunteers: A huge shoutout to everyone who provided donations and volunteered their time to set up, chaperone, and clean up. You worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure our dance was nothing short of amazing!

The Music & Hype Team: Thank you to Mrs. Day for DJing and bringing the absolute best energy to the dance floor, and to Mr. Schwenneker for keeping those dance moves going all night long! 🎶💃

The Paparazzi: Thank you to Ms. Hall for taking ALLLL THE PHOTOS! Parents, keep an eye out—we will be sharing a link with teachers this week so you can see all the memories captured! 📸

The Decor Mastermind: Thank you to Mrs. Black, who personally created all the wonderful decorations over the years. They are always so much fun and truly brought our luau atmosphere to life! 🏝️🍍

Our Custodial Crew: A giant thank you to our wonderful custodians who helped from start to finish with every single need we had. We couldn't do it without you!

Our Leaders & Safety: Thank you to our fantastic Admin team and SRO Foster for your constant support and for keeping our Gators safe and celebrated!

🎓 To our 5th Graders: We are so incredibly proud of you and all you have accomplished. Keep shining bright as you take your next big steps!

☀️ TODAY IS THE DAY! 🌺

ALOHA, 5TH GRADE FAMILIES! The wait is finally over, and the countdown hits zero tonight. We cannot wait to celebrate our incredible rising middle schoolers with a night of fun, music, and unforgettable island vibes at the WGI PTA 5th Grade Luau Dance!

To ensure a smooth, safe, and stress-free evening for everyone, here is everything you need to know before you roll up to the island tonight:

🕒 THE QUICK DETAILS
When: Tonight, June 5th
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: WGI Gym
Cost: FREE ENTRY!
Attire: Your absolute best luau outfits!

🚗 DROP-OFF PROCEDURES (Starts at 6:30 PM)
Drop-Off Only: This is a drop-off event for current Wintergreen 5th graders who have submitted their RSVP form. Families are not permitted to stay.

Kiss & Go Lane: Please use the main entrance lane for drop-off.

Stay in the Car: For safety, students must remain in the vehicle until a chaperone arrives at your car to check them in.

No Photos in Line: To keep things moving and avoid traffic delays, please do not stop to take pictures outside the school entrance.

⚠️ Hard Cutoff at 7:00 PM: The drop-off line closes promptly at 7:00 PM so our volunteers can head inside to help. All students must be dropped off by 7:00 PM!

Chaperones: If you signed up to volunteer, please arrive by 6:15 PM and report directly to a PTA member to sign in. (Need a refresher? Check out the info link: https://canva.link/4mkd5nv0omx6cst)

🚙 PICK-UP PROCEDURES (Starts at 7:50 PM)
Doors will open at 7:50 PM.
Please park and enter through the school’s main entrance. Chaperones will be stationed to direct you to the gym to safely pick up your student(s).

📌 QUICK REMINDERS FOR TONIGHT
Food Allergies: All allergies noted on the RSVPs will be clearly listed at the concession table. Please remind your student to share their name and allergies with the chaperones working the table!

Phones: Cell phones are allowed, but please give your student a quick reminder to use them responsibly tonight.

Forgot to Register?! Email us ASAP at [email protected] to get your student on the list! Please be mindful that responses might not be immediate as our volunteers are currently running around helping with dance prep, awards days, and all the other end-of-year celebrations.

🚨3rd & 4th Grade Awards Day is tomorrow! See below for details.🏆 🐊💚✨

Greetings Wintergreen families, we look forward to seeing our families this Thursday and Friday week as we celebrate our student's success!

Wintergreen Primary will hold its Award Ceremonies on tomorrow, June 4th, at the following times:

1st Grade will begin at 8:30 AM
2nd grade will begin at 10:30 AM
Kindergarten will begin at 12:30 PM

Wintergreen Intermediate will hold its Award Ceremonies for 3rd and 4th grade students on Friday, June 5th, at the following times:

4th grade will begin at 10:30 AM
3rd Grade will begin at 12:30 PM

Our 5th Grade "Moving Up" Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 9th at 9:00 AM at the Alice Keene Recreation Center.

Please note, that our K-4 award ceremonies will take place in our Wintergreen Intermediate Gymnasium.

If you have any questions regarding the awards ceremonies, please contact your child's teacher.

Below are some guidelines we kindly ask our families to be mindful of:

Entrance to Awards Day will be through the Bus Parking Lot Breezeway (double doors covered by a long awning). No entry will be allowed through the main doors at WGP or WGI.

Out of respect for all students who will be recognized during the Awards Ceremony, parents are asked to stay throughout the entirety of the program.

Kindergarten families, upon arrival at the gym, parents who wish to check their child out after the ceremony will be asked to sign paperwork and show their identification at the tables located at the back of the gymnasium. After the ceremony, parents who have completed the paperwork will be escorted back outside to the bus parking lot and directed to the WGP Gym. Students will retrieve their belongings from their classrooms and then be sent to the WGP gym to meet their parent(s).

3rd-grade families, upon arrival at the gym, parents who wish to check their child out after the ceremony will be asked to sign paperwork and show their identification at the tables located at the back of the gymnasium. After the ceremony, parents who have completed the paperwork will remain in the WGI gymnasium. Students will retrieve their belongings from their classrooms and then be sent back to the gym to meet their parent(s).

Students will not be permitted to carry/transport flowers, balloons, or gifts as such on our buses after the Moving Up Ceremony.
