Servants for Sight

Servants for Sight Servants for Sight provides physical and spiritual sight to those in need in Upstate South Carolina and across the globe.

We provide free vision screenings on our mobile vision van to help those who cannot afford eye exams. Similarly, we connect with our neighbors from under-resourced communities and recruit volunteer practitioners to offer free or low-cost eye exams and cataract surgeries. Our mission is about changing lives through improved vision and by sharing the word of God. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information or to volunteer!

Servants for Sight had the privilege of serving in El Salvador earlier this month. What a blessing to share the gift of physical sight and spiritual sight with so many. 660 patients in one week! A very special thanks to so many volunteers who helped sew the eyeglass cases. They were received with so much joy and thankfulness!

Special thanks to this special young seamstress for all of her hard work!

Do you have gently used glasses cases that you would like to donate to Servants For Sight? We give out reading glasses on our mobile unit and would love to have hard cases to give our patients to go with their readers.
Cases will help them last longer and keep them from getting scratched.
If you would like to donate any new or gently used cases, you can drop them off at any Southern Eye Associates office. Google their locations to find the office nearest you. There is a wishing well in the reception area where you can place the cases.
Comment below if you have any questions.
Thank you!

Once or twice a year, one of our volunteer doctors writes a letter advocating for our program. It is an overflow of joy and desire to serve those in need. Our doctors know our patients well. The patients share their stories with them and they often share in prayer together.

I've personally seen a man leave a homeless shelter and get a job because Dr. Hack volunteered to give him bilateral cataract surgery and SFS was able to facilitate. Talk about making a real difference! Thank you Dr. Hack!!
