Meet the Shucker Friday Edition Max Field!

This Friday, I am excited to introduce Max Field, Brokerage Associate with Colliers, as one of our 2026 Shuck Cancer of Greenville Honorary Shuckers!

Max was nominated by a work colleague who simply said he’s a great guy who would make a great Shucker and we couldn’t agree more! Max has jumped right in, and he is already making an impact by bringing Colliers on board as a Shuck Cancer sponsor to support his campaign.

We LOVE seeing workplaces rally behind their people and join them in the fight against cancer. When colleagues and companies come together behind a cause, the impact reaches far beyond the office.

MONDAY SHOUT-OUT: Meet Honorary Shucker Wil Carter!

If you haven’t met Wil yet, chances are it won’t take long because Wil has truly never met a stranger! Outgoing, competitive, and always ready to step up to a challenge, Wil is bringing that same energy to his role as an Honorary Shucker supporting the American Cancer Society.

But for Wil, this mission is also incredibly personal.

Wil was nominated by his wife Grayce, who was diagnosed with breast cancer just two months before their wedding. Wil became her caregiver, standing beside her through chemotherapy, surgery, and the entire cancer journey. Today, we are so grateful that she is cancer-free!

As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, their story is an important reminder that a cancer diagnosis impacts not only the person facing it, but also the people who love them and walk alongside them.

Wil, thank you for stepping up to the plate and taking on this challenge for your wife and for everyone whose life has been touched by cancer.

We are excited to have you and with that competitive spirit, we can’t wait to see what you do!
