A perfect example of how we are creating homes is Southernside West, which will be located at 846 W. Washington St. in the Southernside community just a few a blocks from Main Street.

Plans call for a four-story development that will bring 54 high-quality apartment homes to residents aged 55 and older, offering a mix of affordability levels serving households earning between 30% and 80% of area median income, with 10% of units specially reserved for individuals with disabilities.

The Greenville Housing Fund is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded Part-Time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support our outreach and storytelling efforts.

This role’s primary responsibility is managing and growing the organization’s social media presence while helping communicate the impact of our work throughout the community.

This hybrid position combines in-office collaboration with flexible remote work. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys creating engaging content, interacting with staff and community members, and helping mission-driven organizations tell their story effectively.

The entire GHF team was proud to roll up our sleeves and volunteer on a Habitat for Humanity build as part of NeighborWorks Weeks! We learned how to install windows, had a lot of fun working together, and were grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community while supporting one of our valued partners.

As we celebrated this year’s NeighborWorks Weeks theme, “Creating Homes, Building America,” we were reminded of the power of collaboration and service in strengthening communities. Thank you to Greenville for allowing us to be part of this meaningful experience!

Our HOG Day event got rained out this year, but that didn't stop Libba King and Josh Good from our team from doing their own work at Harmony Ridge this week. They planted tomatoes and cucumbers and were happy to chat with some residents that stopped by!

Located in Travelers Rest, Harmony Ridge is a charming, Senior-restricted (62+) 40-home community consiting of one and two-bedroom layouts with porches, an elevator, community kitchen, laundry, elevator, outdoor gazebo and common library areas on both the first and second floors.
