June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.
And the truth is—men are hurting in silence.
In the United States, men are nearly 4 times more likely to die by su***de than women.
In 2024 alone, over 48,000 lives were lost to su***de nationwide.
Behind those numbers are fathers, sons, brothers, and leaders who never felt safe enough to speak.
Research shows exposure to gun violence increases long-term trauma and suicidal thoughts, especially in heavily impacted communities.
Gun violence is now recognized as a public health crisis in the United States, impacting mental health far beyond the victims themselves.
But hear this clearly:
You are not weak for needing help.
You are not alone in what you feel.
And your life still has purpose.
This is your reminder—men do heal.
Men do speak.
Men do survive.
It’s time to break the silence.
It’s time to choose healing.
