It’s always a good idea to verify your polling place before heading out to vote. Runoff election is August 25, with early voting August 19-21.

The U.S. Senate Special Republican Primary will proceed to a runoff on Tuesday, August 25.

Early voting for the runoff will be available Wednesday, August 19 through Friday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

The U.S. Senate Special Republican Party Primary is on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, with early voting on August 5-7. Voters who cast ballots in the June 9 Republican primary and those who are registered but did not vote in June are eligible to vote in the special primary.

Determine voter eligibility for the August 11 Special Republican Primary ⬇️

The South Carolina State Election Commission has completed its evaluation of existing South Carolina election law to determine voter eligibility for the August 11 Special Republican Primary. Based on that evaluation, voters who participated in the June Democratic Primary are not eligible to vote in the August 11 Special Republican Primary. Voters who either participated in the June Republican Primary or did not vote in either party’s June primary are eligible to vote in the August 11 Special Republican Primary.

Additional information about the Special Republican Primary is available at scVOTES.gov.
