This post is long overdue, and it’s an important one. ❤️

I’ve been given permission to share a small part of Vicky’s story in hopes that it helps her find the right home and raises a little awareness along the way. I won’t share anything identifying.

Vicky was born April 11, 2023, during an incredibly painful chapter in her person’s life. After experiencing a devastating loss, Vicky wandered into her life at exactly the right time and became a little source of light when she needed it most.

She stayed by her person through major life changes and even through an abusive relationship. When her person was hurt, Vicky would come running, cuddle beside her, and stay with her until she felt safe again. She was comfort, companionship, and sometimes even the reason she laughed.

Now this sweet girl needs someone to be that safe place for her. ❤️ She would love a chill home life and lots of love 💕

Vicky is spayed, VERY playful, cuddly once she warms up, and has a hilarious resting b***h face 😂. She prefers men and loves male cats. Loves attention!

Prayers for this boy and his family.
This is right where MANY of us were looking for a puppy, found and now named Smokey, a few weeks ago.

UPDATE | TEENAGER LIKELY PARALYZED AFTER SHOOTING IN UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA

📍Seneca, South Carolina

The family identified the victim as 17-year-old Kaden Kimbrell.

He was shot in the head while sitting a vehicle around 8 p.m. Monday to the area of Goddard Avenue and Sirrine Street in the Utica Mill Hill.

Kaden’s family said he was driving down the road when the car he was driving was shot at, and a bullet went through the back glass and hit him in the back of the head. He crashed into a light pole.

A FLOCK camera picked up the suspect vehicle and deputies were able to stop it near the East End Intersection in Seneca.

It appears the actual shooter was no longer in the car.

A gofundme has been set up to help cover the family’s lost income while they are out of work and spending time at the hospital with Kaden.

Support will also help pay for the home modifications needed for Kaden’s wheelchair. It’s believed he will be paralyzed from the neck down.

A senseless tragedy that has changed two families lives forever.
