Join us for a presentation by Gregory DiPippo titled “The Invention of the True Cross: Agnolo Gaddi’s Fresco Cycle in the Church of Santa Croce, Florence.” This talk explores Gaddi’s fourteenth-century fresco cycle depicting the legendary history of the wood of Christ’s Cross and its significance in the development of narrative painting.

DiPippo, a longtime contributor and editor of New Liturgical Movement, brings deep expertise in liturgy, classics, and Church history to illuminate this remarkable work of sacred art.
