I am putting together another fundraiser for our teen youth group at our church. We've decided to go with raffles for themed gift baskets (and one surprise item). If you have a talent that you'd like to share by donating an item, or if you are tied into a company that would like to support our event, please reach out. I have a letter and tax form from the church that I can get to you, should you want or need it. While we won't be holding the actual raffle until summer, we are working to get the items together to start selling tickets.

We would like to do another fundraiser for our kids during a summer get-together. It was suggested that we put together themed baskets to raffle. If you have connections to local businesses that would like to make a tax-deductible donation to go into a basket, please reach out and let me know. I can get them a copy of the letter they would need for their tax purposes.

We have a youth event coming up on December 7th at the church at 6:30-9PM. It is a movie night and crafts. This even is more for the kids age 10 and below to make gifts for their parents, grandparents, guardians, etc. We need help from teachers from all ages and/or other adults to lend a hand and wrangle any young-uns. We also want some teens there to help out. Lastly, we need some ideas for crafts suitable for their age. The plan is to show "The Polar Express" while the kids make gifts. Please message if you can help or have craft ideas. Thank you so much!

A family is donating a sofa and loveseat to our youth. I need some muscle and means of transport to get them. Jeff's away all weekend. Any volunteers? Tricia Griffin posted the items for the donors. We will need to coordinate because I don't know who they are. Thank you for the help!

Due to a lack of response and cancellations, we are going to cancel the Wilstem trip. We will either plan it for another weekend, or plan a different destination. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Here are some of the upcoming youth events (with ages listed):

Sept 28: Wilstem, meet at church at 9:30AM; all ages & families
Oct 5: Movie night, church at 6-9PM; TEENS ONLY
Nov 8: Lock-in, church at 7PM-7AM; teens and middle school
Dec 7: Movie & craft night, church at 6:30-9PM; kindergarten and up
Jan & Mar: another movie night, more info to come
Apr12: Silent Auction & Cookout, Bishop's at 4PM, all church members

Please feel free to let me know of any other events for the middle, elementary and nursery ages. I can add them on here.

Cost: adults (age 65+)=$27
adults (age 13-64)=$30
kids (age 3-12)=$26
The fees for ALL children in our youth classes will be paid by the church youth fund.
