Senior Spotlight: Cidney
❣️The creation of the step team was to give girls and boys a opportunity to show their talents ,leadership skills ,and to surround themselves with people of the same interests.
❣️My favorite step team memory is our first performance! The way the students/ staff reacted to us at the Prep Rally was unbelievable!
❣️After high school I plan on attending Clark Atlanta University where I will major in Theatre Arts .
❣️I ran track 7th-9th , became a cheerleader my 10th grade year , involve in Theatre productions. I am in Beta Club and The National Honor Society.
❣️A fun fact I’ve been the same height since 6th grade (5ft) .
❣️“ I say, It's in the reach of my arms, The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees” -Maya Angelou . This poem /quote just let’s me know that I’m phenomenal, and everyone woman (girl) should feel that way . We all go through our ups and downs as women !
❣️I admire Taylor Smith , not only is she a leader , she’s talented , very sweet .Taylor is someone you enjoy being around .
❣️Coaches Corner: “Cidney is the founding member of the GHS Step Team. Without her hard work, the team wouldn’t even exist! Cid, you are hilarious, spunky, dramatic, talented, kind, & strong-willed.
