Due to the recent closing of all railroad crossings in the City of Greenup and having to travel slightly different routes to parts of the City until crossings are reopened Saturday at some point. We are manning the station at night with a 3 person crew starting 10/21/26. This will allow for quicker response times due to having to get up, get dress , travel to station from home for any possible call where our travel time may be extended due to crossing closer’s. This is anticipated to shave multiple minutes off response time due to slightly increased travel times to these areas of concern until the reopening of all crossings.
