If you’re in the Ohiopyle area this evening or around West Newton tomorrow, then he’ll be onto the Southside Flats at the Hot Metal Bridge in Pittsburgh, then to Weirton, WV and on to Columbus, OH. I encourage you to stop and meet Gabe!

Gabe is on a mission, bicycling coast to coast to bring awareness to a cause that is deeply personal and close to his heart. Along the way, he said the most meaningful part of this journey has been meeting people in the communities he passes through.

That really resonated with me because it’s something we always say: Camaraderie. Connection. Community.

If you have a few minutes, introduce yourself, wish him well, and let him know Western Pennsylvania is cheering him on. Sometimes the greatest encouragement comes from a simple conversation with a stranger who becomes a friend.

1:16 p.m. – Derry American Legion Post 324
1:45 p.m. – Export American Legion Post 858
2:50 p.m. – Trafford American Legion Post 331
3:00 p.m. – Irwin American Legion Post 359
3:10 p.m. – Manor American Legion Post 472
3:20 p.m. – Jeannette American Legion Post 344

The ride will then return to Z&M Harley-Davidson for the remainder of the community event.
