Kentucky 4-H enrollment is going digital! 💻🍀
Starting September 1, families will use 4-H Online to enroll youth members and register for county and state 4-H opportunities.
Getting started is easy:
1️⃣ Manage the whole family from one account
3️⃣ Explore local and statewide opportunities
4️⃣ Register for clubs, camps, events, and more

The link will go live sometime this afternoon.
New families will select sign up and follow the prompts to make an account.
Returning families will select sign-in using the email you provided your county office in the past and select reset password to access your account. If you are unsure of this email contact your local extension office.

Yesterday, Green County was represented in the beef show at the Kentucky State Fair. We are so proud of all of our exhibitors and helpers. If you haven’t made it to the fair yet, go check it out this weekend before the fair closes until next year.

Green County 4-H is still in need of volunteers to help at the 4-H booth during Cow Days on Saturday, September 19th. Youth may volunteer but they must have an adult volunteer present, all adult volunteers must have an approved volunteer application prior to the event. We still need help for the following time slots: 2:00-4:00 pm CT, 4:00-6:00 pm CT and 6:00-8:00 pm CT (will include take down).

Youth volunteers will get to count this as community service in their awards application.

🌟💚 Green County 4-H is shining bright at the Kentucky State Fair!💚🌟

The Kentucky State Fair is in full swing, and our Green County 4-Hers are making us PROUD! 🎉🏆

All of our projects have been judged and are on display, and we have already brought home numerous blue ribbons, class champions, a Reserve Grand Champion AND a Grand Champion!🥇👏 We couldn’t be more excited for our talented 4-H members and all the hard work they put into their projects!

🎤 Yesterday, Maci Dicken took the stage in Cloverville to present her “What Freedom Means to Me”speech. Way to represent Green County, Maci! 🇺🇸❤️

🥩 Country Ham was also a big event for Green County! Waylon Bonta, Dakota Milby, Violet Pickard, Oliver Pickard and Jaylien Carrier competed alongside more than 1,100 4-Hers from across Kentucky in the Country Ham Project! That is some serious 4-H competition! 👏🐷

🐄 Our State Livestock Judging Team member, Eli Thompson, was in the show ring assisting with the judging competition.

🐄 Today, we’re cheering on Hadley Olt as she competes in the Dairy Show! Good luck, Hadley! 💚🍀

If you’re heading to the Kentucky State Fair, make sure you visit Cloverville and check out the amazing project exhibits. We want to wish all of our state fair exhibitors and participants the best as the compete and participate in various events.
Also, stop by Ky Department of Ag booth to pick up a student challenge card to complete for a chance to win prizes while at the fair.
