Day 4 wrapped up our time together at camp. Our cabins were in charge of KP today and several of our campers were recognized by staff members with special awards. This was truly a great group of campers and leaders. I hope everyone enjoyed their week at camp! While we are a whole year away from another summer camp, there are many other ways to get involved in 4-H all year long. Make sure you continue to follow our page and check out future opportunities!

Campers will be heading home today! Here are a few importantreminders:
We should be departing between 11:30-12:00 pm ET. Check the remind for actual departure time and expected arrival time at the Extension Office.
If your child took meds, please pick that up before you leave.
Bring ID to sign your camper off the bus and remember whoever is picking them up must be on the pick up list.
Once you have your camper, then you can collect their luggage, please double check that you have the right items before loading them in your car.
The parking lot will be very busy, so please use caution.
I hope your child had a great week at camp, they’ve been an awesome group!!

We’ve wrapped up our 3rd day and getting settled into cabins for our final sleep before heading home. Campers have had another full day and concluded with glow Sally and a special bonfire to celebrate their accomplishments from the week, new friendships and lasting memories.

Campers are getting ready to enjoy free swim after attending classes and enjoying activities from archery to zip lining. Favorite activities have been reported from several campers with Sally being at the top of the list. They will wrap up day two with visiting the country store, more Sally time or a movie later tonight. It’s a great day at LC4-H Camp!!!

We are wrapping up day 1 of camp. Campers attended one class, free swim, sally down the alley and a night swim! Everyone seems to be having a wonderful time. Now we’re off for a good nights sleep to start early in the morning.

Hello Campers! There’s only one more sleep until 4-H Camp!!
Here are some reminders:
Arrive at the Extension Office at 7 am CT. Check in will not begin early so please bring your patience if you arrive early and stay in your car.
If you’re bringing medication, it must be in original container in a zip lock bag with a completed medication form and a color photo of the camper.
Watch for signs directing you where to go.
Parents please be mindful in the parking lot and watch for no parking areas marked with cones.

A huge shoutout to our Livestock Club. 🥳Sawyer Thompson, Eli Estes and Eli Thompson competed at the KY 4-H Livestock Judging competition yesterday. Eli Thompson placed in the Top 10 overall & 4th overall in beef!! Eli Estes brought home a banner for 9th overall in swine. And their livestock club leader deserves tremendous accolades for spending her birthday cheering them on and spending the day at the competition. Thank you Jennifer Thompson for all you do.
