PLEASE NOTE: If you have been involved in 4-H previously, please follow the directions for "Returning Member." If you do not know what email you would have used, please contact the office to get the email associated with your account. If you no longer have access to that email, we can update that for you. Starting September 1, families will use 4-H Online to enroll youth members and register for county and state 4-H opportunities.

Yesterday, Green County was represented in the beef show at the Kentucky State Fair. We are so proud of all of our exhibitors and helpers. If you havenโ€™t made it to the fair yet, go check it out this weekend before the fair closes until next year.

Green County 4-H is still in need of volunteers to help at the 4-H booth during Cow Days on Saturday, September 19th. Youth may volunteer but they must have an adult volunteer present, all adult volunteers must have an approved volunteer application prior to the event. We still need help for the following time slots: 2:00-4:00 pm CT, 4:00-6:00 pm CT and 6:00-8:00 pm CT (will include take down).

Youth volunteers will get to count this as community service in their awards application.

๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’š Green County 4-H is shining bright at the Kentucky State Fair!๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒŸ

The Kentucky State Fair is in full swing, and our Green County 4-Hers are making us PROUD! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ†

All of our projects have been judged and are on display, and we have already brought home numerous blue ribbons, class champions, a Reserve Grand Champion AND a Grand Champion!๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ‘ We couldnโ€™t be more excited for our talented 4-H members and all the hard work they put into their projects!

๐ŸŽค Yesterday, Maci Dicken took the stage in Cloverville to present her โ€œWhat Freedom Means to Meโ€speech. Way to represent Green County, Maci! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโค๏ธ

๐Ÿฅฉ Country Ham was also a big event for Green County! Waylon Bonta, Dakota Milby, Violet Pickard, Oliver Pickard and Jaylien Carrier competed alongside more than 1,100 4-Hers from across Kentucky in the Country Ham Project! That is some serious 4-H competition! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿท

๐Ÿ„ Our State Livestock Judging Team member, Eli Thompson, was in the show ring assisting with the judging competition.

If youโ€™re heading to the Kentucky State Fair, make sure you visit Cloverville and check out the amazing project exhibits. We want to wish all of our state fair exhibitors and participants the best as the compete and participate in various events.
Also, stop by Ky Department of Ag booth to pick up a student challenge card to complete for a chance to win prizes while at the fair.
