💚🖤 Happy Juneteenth! 💚🖤
Today, we honor Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice.
At YWCA Westmoreland County, we recognize that building stronger communities means caring for one another and creating opportunities to make a meaningful difference. That's why we're proud to host Freedom to Give: A Juneteenth Blood Drive for Sickle Cell in partnership with the American Red Cross.
Sickle cell disease disproportionately impacts the Black community, and blood donations from a diverse donor pool are essential to helping patients receive the lifesaving care they need.
