Sisters of the Greensboro Chapter of Las Amigas Incorporated had the pleasure of attending the Carolina Nurses League 6th Annual Nurses Ball: Beyond the Call at the Embassy Suites. Greensboro Mayor & Honorary Member, Marikay Abuzuaiter, along with 21st Past National President Agatha Grimes, Sister Zina Baldwin, and Sister Shareka Williams, were in attendance. This elegant evening also served as a meaningful opportunity to graciously share the mission and sisterhood of Las Amigas Incorporated, fostering connections and extending a warm invitation to prospective members. 💜🩷

The Greensboro Chapter of Las Amigas Incorporated is excited to welcome five new members to the organization. They were officially installed on January 31, 2026, but due to weather, their reception was postponed. The celebration took place on February 21, 2026, at Congregational United Church of Christ, with special guests Mayor Marikay Abuzuaiter and Board of Education member Bettye Jenkins.

We are proud to welcome Zina Baldwin, Karen Bruce, Shareka Williams, Lorianne Ambrose Jarrell, and Zenobia Frazier. A big thank you to our Immediate Past 21st National President, Agatha Bouvier Martin Grimes, who served as mistress of ceremonies and presented the mayor with Honorary Membership.

Our spring and summer membership drive is now underway, and we encourage anyone interested to connect with our Immediate Past 21st National President and Membership Drive chairperson, Agatha Bouvier Martin Grimes, at 336-254-1555 and President, Brenda Dalton James, at 336-297-0554. Today we celebrate the legacy of sisterhood and service that continues to unite and uplift our communities. A very special shout-out to the organizer of the Greensboro Chapter, Sister Lola Anne McAdoo, founded in February 1967. Her vision, leadership, and dedication laid a strong foundation that still inspires us today.
