Well. We gave it a shot but Mama Nature had other plans. Tailgate was shut down early due to lightning. Much appreciation to the classes that had representation out there. And to our DJ Joey Chambers and his crew! They had the music sounding beautiful!!!

We tried to wait out the rain but it didn’t work out. Let’s just get ready to do it big on September 26 for homecoming.

Tailgate is on! We’re not canceling! We will see everybody tomorrow! Let’s make it great, stay safe, and have a great time!

We have secured security to keep everyone safe. Setup is 2-4, the party starts at 5!

Smith Alumni Tailgate Update! 🌦🦅
The Summer Tailgate is still happening (as long as weather holds up), but we’ve scaled it back. The school couldn’t lock in a rain date, so we’ve refunded all class payments and disabled registration. BUT we still want yall to pull up, set up, and connect with other Eagles.

Final weather call drops Friday at 2 PM—stay tuned! 💛💚
