Triad Tapestry Children's Chorus

Triad Tapestry Children's Chorus The TTCC is a FREE, non-audition chorus for 7-11yr olds of all backgrounds and faiths. We sing songs from many cultures for groups and events in the Triad.

The Triad Tapestry Children's Chorus was founded in 1993, under the auspices of the Piedmont Interfaith Council, a non-profit community organization established in 1983. The mission of the Piedmont Interfaith Council is to build bridges of communication, reconciliation and understanding between all ethnic and religious groups in the Piedmont. The TTCC exists as the living embodiment of the PIC's m

ission, as the chorus children learn and perform songs from many different religions and cultures for groups and events throughout the Triad. We actively seek to include children from a wide variety of racial, cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds, believing that music learned and sung together will foster unity and friendship, and believing that, by taking our songs out into the community, we will encourage unity and friendship to thrive among others as well. Children interested in joining the chorus need not have any prior musical experience, just an interest in singing. The chorus is funded entirely by donations to the PIC. No gift is too small, and every dollar is important. If you would like to learn more, or inquire about performance opportunities, please contact Choral Director, Melissa Burris, at [email protected].
