VWPM, Inc. is a non-profit, para-church ministry. VWMP, Inc. is a prayer, discipleship and training ministry.

It has prayer branches for women of faith called Virtuous Woman Prayer Ministry in Charlotte, Jamestown and Greensboro, NC and a branch in West Haven, CT. It also has an outreach ministry for single parents and their children called Future Hope Single Parents' Ministry.

DAY 4 : INFLUENCE & SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Whose Voice Will Shape Them?

Romans 12:2 — “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

Our children are being influenced constantly. Through what they watch. What they listen to. Who they follow. Who they sit beside. What their friends believe. What the world tells them is normal. Today, we’re praying that the voices competing for our children’s hearts will never become louder than the voice of God.

PRAYER

Father, give our children discernment. Help them recognize what is harmful, even when everyone around them calls it normal. Protect them from drugs, po*******hy, sexual exploitation, violence, bullying, and relationships that pull them away from You. Give them courage to walk away from what isn’t good for them and boldness to stand for what is right. Lead them by your Spirit on how to avoid darkness, and instruct them how to be a light for Your glory. Let them know who they are and, more importantly, whose they are. In Jesus’ name, amen.

DAY 3: HEARTS & MINDS

God, Guard What We Cannot Always See

Philippians 4:7 — “And the peace of God…shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

A child can walk into school smiling and still be carrying something heavy. They can have friends and feel lonely. They can make good grades and still feel like they aren’t enough. They can laugh all day and go home hurting. Today, we’re praying beyond what we can see. We’re asking God to guard the hearts, minds, emotions, and identity of our children.

PRAYER

Father, guard the hearts and minds of our children. Protect them from anxiety, insecurity, comparison, rejection, loneliness, and the pressure to become someone they’re not. Remind them that their worth isn’t determined by grades, popularity, appearance, sports, or social media. Give them peace when they’re overwhelmed and courage when they’re afraid. Surround them with friendships that bring life and people who will speak truth over them. Keep their minds. Keep their hearts. Keep their joy. In Jesus’ name, amen.

DAY 2: TEACHERS & SCHOOL STAFF

Strength for Those Who Pour Out

James 1:5 — “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God…”

Today, we’re praying for the people entrusted with our children for hours each day. Teachers and school staff carry responsibilities that go far beyond what happens on a lesson plan. They’re teaching, correcting, encouraging, listening, managing, and sometimes carrying burdens that nobody else knows about. So today, we’re asking God to strengthen the ones who pour into our children.

PRAYER

Father, strengthen every teacher, administrator, counselor, coach, bus driver, and school staff member. Give them wisdom for every situation, patience for difficult moments, and discernment to recognize when a child needs more than correction. Protect them from burnout, frustration, and discouragement. Give them grace for this school year and remind them that the seeds they plant in our children matter. Strengthen their hands for the work and give them grace for every child. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Every day this week, we are covering our youth, teachers, and school staff in prayer. 🙏🏽❤️

DAY 1: COVERING & PROTECTION

God Goes Before Them

Psalm 91:11 — “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

As our children return to school, we’re praying over every place they will go and every person they will encounter. We may not know what each day will hold, but God already does. He is not surprised by what our children will face. He is already there.

Today, we’re asking God to surround them with His protection, give them wisdom, and keep them from danger we can see and danger we cannot.

PRAYER

Father, cover our children as they go to and from school. Guard their classrooms, buses, hallways, friendships, and every place their feet will touch. Protect them from violence, accidents, bullying, harmful influences, and anyone who intends to cause them harm. Give teachers discernment to recognize what others may overlook, andgive our children wisdom to make choices that keep them safe. Go before them, surround them, and keep Your hand upon them. Let Your presence be known in every school our children enter. In Jesus’ name, amen. ⚔️🔥

What a beautiful day of community, love, laughter, and making sure our children were ready to step into a new school year feeling supported and encouraged.

The heart of Future Hope Single Parents’ Ministry is simple: to walk alongside single parents and their families with love, support, encouragement, and hope. It’s about more than meeting a need—it’s about building community, reminding families that they don’t have to do life alone, and being the hands and feet of Jesus in real and practical ways.

We believe God cares about every part of the journey—the big things and the everyday things—and we’re grateful for every opportunity He gives us to create spaces where families can feel seen, loved, strengthened, and supported.

Our Back to School event was a success, and we’re so thankful for everyone who helped make it possible. We’re excited to see all that God continues to do through Future Hope Single Parents’ Ministry! 💛

Some of the partners from three of the VWPM, Inc. prayer branches gathered for a sister fellowship lunch this past weekend. What a beautiful time of fellowship, encouragement, and connection. It was spiritually refreshing, and we’re grateful for the unity God continues to build among His daughters. ❤️

Today, we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation and remember with gratitude the men and women whose courage and sacrifice have helped preserve them.

As you gather with family and friends, may your day be filled with joy, peace, laughter, and thankfulness. Stay safe, cherish those around you, and may God continue to bless our homes, our communities, and our nation.

Today, we pause to honor and celebrate the men who love, lead, protect, provide, teach, pray, and sacrifice for their families. Fatherhood is a high calling, and so much of what fathers do happens quietly, behind the scenes, and often without recognition. Thank you for every early morning, every hard decision, every prayer, every lesson taught, and every act of love that helps shape the next generation.

Your presence matters. Your guidance matters. Your sacrifices matter. The impact of a godly father reaches far beyond today and leaves a legacy for generations to come.

To every father, in whatever way God has called you to lead, love, nurture, and influence the lives entrusted to you, thank you. We honor your sacrifices, celebrate your faithfulness, and pray that the Lord strengthens your hands, refreshes your spirit, and abundantly blesses you and your family.

Today marks the start of FIFA, bringing nations from around the world together. 🌎⚽

As we watch countries compete on one field, let’s take a moment to pray for the people represented by every flag, every nation, and every community. May the Gospel continue to reach the ends of the earth, and may we be reminded that our greatest calling is to share the love of Christ wherever we go.
