Some of our partners enjoyed some well-deserved summer fun and a break from their therapy dog duties yesterday!
Many thanks to Best Friends Bed and Biscuit for making this possible and providing some fun in the sun for our pups!

NCPP teams participated in the YMCA National Gymnastics Championship and Invitational in Greensboro this week!!

07/03/2026

We had so much fun in a new environment this week at the YMCA National Gymnastics Championship & Invitational in Greensboro. Almost 2,000 athletes from 19 states were present with all their coaches and families.

We were there to provide smiles, comfort, and sometimes be present during disappointment and tears.

Our teams handled the new environment with all the crowds, noise, excitement, stress, music, lights, and a huge space like seasoned pros. Ten of our teams covered shifts in the gyms during multiple days!

We loved the tradition of the gymnasts giving hand decorated clothes pins to the dogs. In return we gave them our cards.

Many thanks to Sharon Johnson, CEO Valparaiso YMCA, for inviting us to help her and her therapy dog, Bailey, this year!
