Piedmont Shakespeare Company, a theatre company, is hosting their second production: Much Ado About Nothing, a comedy. You may remember that they performed Hamlet last year.

The ASL-interpreted performance will be June 24, at 7:00pm. It will be in the same location as last year: the Greensboro Cultural Center. Tickets are free, but they do ask that you reserve tickets in advance so they know how many seats are needed in the ASL section.

Creative Greensboro is excited to produce Bye Bye Birdie!

Bye Bye Birdie is a musical comedy with Book by Michael Stewart, Music by Charles Strouse, Lyrics by Lee Adams and directed by Todd Fisher, Wesley McCleary and Carrie Plew. Performances will take place June 25-27 at 7:30 pm and June 28 at 2pm at the Virginia Sommerville Sutton Theatre at Wellspring, 4100 Well Spring Dr.

A loving send-up of the 1950s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts for teens, and a hilarious script, Birdie continues to thrill audiences around the world. Bye Bye Birdie is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC. At the Virginia Sommerville Sutton Theatre.

A small but mighty crew survived the hot 90-degree sun for our second Sign and Stride of this year!

This will be every 2 weeks on Thursdays, so plan to join us on June 18 at 6:00pm! We meet at the back corner of Revolution Mill’s campus; enter 1601 Yanceyville St. into your GPS and it should get you there! This is the second year that CSDHH has partnered with Blaze Pizza to host a fundraiser event. We recently received the donation check; are you wondering how much we raised?

We raised $87.25! We were so excited with this amount. Thank you to the approximately 30 people who attended the event and socialized with us. We really appreciate your support, thank you.
