I missed.... However, 27 June 2022 is PTSD Awareness Day. Recognition: teal ribbon.
PTSD is a serious mental illness and it is caused by a traumatic or dangerous event.

June has so many awarenesses.... Everyday I will most something different and a fun fact!
I will start with:
*********AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSIC APPRECIATION MONTH*****
African American Music Appreciation Month was inducted 7 June 1979 by President Carter, who designated June as Black Music Month. The observance was created to acknowledge and celebrate the historical influence African Americans have had on the music industry and is to pay homage to many artists, writers, songs and albums that have inspired music lovers and shaped American Pop culture. President Obama renamed the national observance as African-American Music Appreciation Month.

Hello All....

I'm back and I am still accepting donations of clothes, shoes, nonperishable items, hygiene products, etc...
I am also doing a raffle, where raffle tickets are $1!!! So far I've sold $50 in raffle tickets... yayyyy!!! It's a start and I greatly appreciate all that have bought tickets and to those who haven't I still have many more! 😀
