Registration is now open for the Crossroads Summer Empowerment Camp, a free, two-day leadership, career exploration, and enrichment experience for students in grades 7–11.

This is more than a summer program. Students will spend time with real professionals, build practical career skills, and step into spaces designed to expand what they believe is possible.

Day One — Friday, July 10 | 9:00 AM–3:30 PM
📍 Charles Aris Executive Search
299 N. Greene St., Greensboro

Students will spend the day inside one of the nation’s leading executive search firms. Activities include:

• Interview skills and professional communication
• Resume development
• Career planning and goal-setting
• Guided facility tour
• Employee panel discussion

Featured guest speaker Michelle Gethers-Clark, Chief Diversity Officer at Visa and former CEO of United Way of Greater Greensboro, will speak with students about financial literacy, leadership, and building a future that lasts.

Day Two — Saturday, July 11 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
📍 Topgolf Greensboro
609 Guilford College Rd.

We will close out the camp with golf instruction from a golf professional, inspiring guest speakers, lunch, and a chance for students to connect in a new environment.

Golf opens doors. We want our students prepared to walk through them.

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited.

What started in 2009 with a vision, Saturday workshops twice a month, and a commitment to consistency has now impacted over 200 young men with a 100% high school graduation rate among our graduates.

Through mentorship, college tours, leadership workshops, scholarships, community service, and real relationships, we’ve been blessed to watch so many young people grow into fathers, professionals, leaders, and mentors themselves.

Grateful for every parent, mentor, board member, supporter, volunteer, and student who has been part of the journey. We’re proud of what’s been built, and we are excited for what’s ahead for Crossroads!

Great turnout at our Crossroads Bowling Workshop this weekend.

Beyond the fun, the young men showed real teamwork, communication, and leadership—encouraging each other, staying engaged, and competing the right way. That’s where confidence is built—through participation, support, and small wins stacking up.

We also had meaningful conversations about future careers and pathways, helping them start thinking bigger about what’s possible.

Special thanks to Spare Time Greensboro for hosting us:great environment, great food, and an all-around great experience for the young men.

This is what Crossroads is about—exposure, growth, and direction.

In Year 17, we've decided to create a game packed with the knowledge, lessons, and perspective we’ve gained over the years through Crossroads: Pathways to Success, Inc.

We are proud to introduce CROSSROADS: Pathways to Power — an interactive experience that places young people in the shoes of a high school student navigating real-life choices, challenges, and opportunities in real time.

Players choose their character, move through the city, and make decisions that can shape their future in meaningful ways. Every choice matters. Every level teaches something different. Every ending reflects the path the player chose.
Inside the game, players will experience:

🏙️ A rooftop conversation that challenges them to think about who they want to become

⚡ A discipline lab that tests consistency, focus, and resilience

🛠️ A tech forge where they build, create, and problem-solve

🌆 Night time scenarios filled with pressure, distractions, and tough decisions

🏆 A legacy moment where everything comes full circle
Five levels. Five life lessons. Five different endings.

The game tracks key traits like Confidence, Focus, Skill, Leadership, and Integrity — allowing each player’s journey to reflect the choices they made, not simply the choices placed in front of them.

It’s free, browser-based, and designed to connect with young people in a way that feels engaging, real, and relevant.

This weekend, the young men of Crossroads:Pathways to Success, INC. to Success had the opportunity to participate in a powerful leadership workshop at Greensboro, where we used the game of golf to talk about focus, discipline, patience, and making adjustments in life.

Just like in golf, success in life requires practice, accountability, and the ability to stay focused on your next shot even after a tough one. These young men showed great energy, teamwork, and willingness to learn throughout the day.

We want to give a special thank you to Topgolf Greensboro for providing such an incredible environment for mentorship, growth, and community engagement.

📣 Crossroads Pathways to Success – Youth Mentorship Program

Crossroads Pathways to Success is continuing our mission of mentoring and developing young men in the Greensboro community through leadership, education, service, and personal growth.

Our workshops bring young men together to learn valuable life skills, build confidence, and develop the discipline needed to succeed in school, careers, and life. From mentorship sessions and leadership discussions to community activities and events, Crossroads provides a positive environment where young men can grow and thrive.

This weekend our students will be participating in a leadership workshop at Topgolf Greensboro, using golf as a way to talk about focus, patience, discipline, and making adjustments in life.

We are always welcoming new students who are interested in becoming part of the program.

Young men ages 12 and up are encouraged to get involved.
