Meet Chris Wainscott: Famous in His Own Kitchen 👨‍🍳

What happens when a love of cooking meets a love for the community? Men Can Cook…With a Twist!

Meet Chris Wainscott, one of our amazing community chefs and a man who is, as we like to say, famous in his own kitchen! Chris has been part of Men Can Cook for years—and says it has become one of his favorite weekends of the year.

For Chris, it’s about more than great food. It’s about community, laughter, local businesses, and supporting women when they need it most.

Chris first got involved with the Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro because of his wife and daughter—and his belief that everyone deserves a place to turn when they need help.

Want to give back and make a difference in the lives of women in our community?

The Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro is looking for volunteers to support our programs, events, community outreach, and day-to-day work.

Whether you have a few hours a month or want to get more involved, there’s a place for you at WRC!

Volunteer opportunities include:
• Supporting events and fundraisers
• Helping with community outreach
• Representing WRC at community events
• Administrative and office support
• Sharing your skills, talents, and connections

No special experience is required—just a willingness to help, connect, and support women in our community.
