Greensboro Youth Chorus is dedicated to helping students develop their musical talents, nurturing their love for music, and creating a strong sense of community through the joy of singing together. We provide a positive and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and express themselves as talented musicians, amazing performers, and exceptional individuals.

With choirs for grades K-12, we help youth explore their love of singing. Our students learn music-reading, sight-singing, and choral techniques. We perform a wide range of repertoire from diverse places, times, and composers.

Through music we foster cultural awareness, community involvement, and collaboration, all while making friends! No auditions or experience required, just a love for music and having fun! If this sounds like your student, we’d love for them to join us!

We had so much fun at The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro's event last night! Want to get in on the singing? Join us for Summer Choir Camp, July 20-23 and 27-30, at the brand new Peeler-Hampton Visual and Performing Arts school.

What do kids think of GYC Summer Choir Camp? Let them speak for themselves! Two campers from last year, Lizzie and Landon, tell us how much they enjoyed singing with their friends for the week.

Here's what you need to know:
- Week 1 is July 20-23: "Once Upon a Song"
- Week 2 is July 27-30: "Down By the Sea"
- Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-1:00 PM
- Tuition is $125 per week
- Breakfast & lunch are provided

Announcing the themes for this year’s GYC Summer Choir Camp!

Week 1 will be "Once Upon A Song!" We’ll immerse ourselves in fantastical tales in lands far, far away and sing our hearts out.

Week 2 will be "Down By The Sea!" We’ll dive into a day at the beach with all our friends and songs of sandcastles, seagulls, and swimming.

The final Greensboro Youth Chorus concert of the 25-26 season is almost here!

From the highways of Route 66 to the wide-open landscapes of 900 Miles, this program celebrates the many ways we travel through life. With jazz, love songs, folk tales, and songs from around the world, we sing of discovery, belonging, and joy along the journey. Travel with us as we explore roads near and far and discover the songs that carry us home.
