A couple of our GYC singers were able to join other 4th-8th graders in NC yesterday under the direction of Liana Salinas at “NC Sings!” - a one-day festival event hosted by NC ACDA in Asheville 🎶 Despite the stormy weather, everyone came together and had a wonderful, joyful experience! Many thanks to Liana Salinas, Martha Brown, José Rivera, and the NC ACDA committee for making this happen!

Greensboro Youth Chorus is dedicated to helping students develop their musical talents, nurturing their love for music, and creating a strong sense of community through the joy of singing together. We provide a positive and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and express themselves as talented musicians, amazing performers, and exceptional individuals.

With choirs for grades K-12, we help youth explore their love of singing. Our students learn music-reading, sight-singing, and choral techniques. We perform a wide range of repertoire from diverse places, times, and composers.

Through music we foster cultural awareness, community involvement, and collaboration, all while making friends! No auditions or experience required, just a love for music and having fun! If this sounds like your student, we’d love for them to join us!

We had so much fun at The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro's event last night! Want to get in on the singing? Join us for Summer Choir Camp, July 20-23 and 27-30, at the brand new Peeler-Hampton Visual and Performing Arts school.

What do kids think of GYC Summer Choir Camp? Let them speak for themselves! Two campers from last year, Lizzie and Landon, tell us how much they enjoyed singing with their friends for the week.

Here's what you need to know:
- Week 1 is July 20-23: "Once Upon a Song"
- Week 2 is July 27-30: "Down By the Sea"
- Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-1:00 PM
- Tuition is $125 per week
- Breakfast & lunch are provided
- Scholarships are available!
