If Nicole Lindahl was nearby, there was a good chance a bicycle was too - and it was almost certain that she was smiling! The Downtown Greenway community is heartbroken by the passing of our dear friend and community partner on August 7 đź’”

Nicole was a joyful presence, a gentle and patient teacher, a tireless advocate, and someone who always showed up ready to do the hard work and get things done. Her work with Bicycling In Greensboro, Inc. (BIG), Triad Friends of Greenways, and countless other organizations impacted so many.

She helped people of all ages learn to ride, gathered volunteers around shared causes, and worked toward a safer, more accessible, and more connected Greensboro. We will miss her familiar smile, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought to this work.

Greensboro is a better place because Nicole kept showing up, and she will be greatly missed.
