Etta's Tangles, Inc Etta's Tangles is a small group focused on delivering handmade goods such as hats, blankets, or shawl Etta Bollinger was an amazing lady and grandmother.

She taught me to crochet when I was 10 or 11 years old. After Etta passed, I decided that I wanted to form an organization in her memory that helps others with handmade items. Etta's Tangles main objective is to spread love, friendship, and healing through the giving of our time and our crafts. We are currently working towards non-profit status and hope to achieve this by 2018.

Etta's Tangles is taking handmade (crochet, knit, loom, and sewn) hats to send in care packages to our armed forces. We have set a goal of 200 hats. Let us know who you are donating in honor of or memory of and we will list it in our posts.

Just over 6 weeks left!! Keep those fingers busy!! Our first hat drive for Sons of Soldiers is over half way through.

Keep sending as many hats as possible until July 9th. We still have a long way to go to reaching our goal. I know we can do it!! Put a note in your package if you want to dedicate it to a certain member of the armed forces or a special person and we will make sure it gets tagged on here!

Let's share this post far and wide to get the word out. How amazing would it be to surpass that goal?

Etta's Tangles is collecting hats for Sons of Soldiers until July 9th. Sons of Soldiers is a wonderful organization of men and women dedicated to sending care packages to our Armed Forces overseas.

Please send crochet, knit or sewn hats to help fill 200 care packages. Let's make hats to brighten their days and remind them that they are thought of and cared about!
