The annual UMMAS Fall Retreat is a joyful and transformative gathering designed to renew the spirit, inspire fresh ideas, and deepen connection with community and Spirit. Held in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina at Lake Junaluska with lodging at the beautiful Terrace
Hotel, the retreat brings together spiritual seekers, ministers, leaders, creatives, and lifelong learners for several days of music, workshops, worship, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
This year’s theme, Rising Together: Renewing Our Spirit, Connecting Our Hearts, and Awakening to What Is Ours to Do - Together, invites us into a shared experience of healing, inspiration, courage, and collective purpose. As we gather in sacred community, we remember that none of us are meant to do this work alone.
Hosted by the Unity Ministers of the Mid-Atlantic States (UMMAS), the retreat welcomes anyone looking for inspiration, renewal, and authentic spiritual community. The 2026 retreat features New York Times bestselling author Pam Grout, transformational speaker Rev. Dr. Martha Creek, and conscious indie-pop musician Jesse Powers, along with engaging workshops, meditation, live music, and sacred gathering experiences throughout the week. (unityretreat.us)

Whether you are seeking spiritual renewal, creative inspiration, deeper connection, or simply time away to breathe and reflect, the UMMAS Fall Retreat invites you to come as you are and leave refreshed, encouraged, and inspired.
Registration & Pricing Information
Registration for the UMMAS Fall Retreat is offered in two package options with lodging options available at the Terrace Hotel at Lake Junaluska:
4-Night Retreat Package (Ministers Only)
September 14–18 (Monday–Friday)
The 4-night package includes Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning programming designed specifically for ministers, including connection, conversation, and minister-focused experiences before the full retreat begins.
3-Night Retreat Package (All Attendees)
September 15–18 (Tuesday–Friday)
The 3-night package includes the main retreat experience shared by the entire community.
After selecting either the 4-night or 3-night registration option, attendees will choose their lodging occupancy type.
Meal Plans
Meal plans are available as an add-on during registration:
4-Night Meal Plan: $240
3-Night Meal Plan: $180
Meal plans must be purchased in advance and will not be available for purchase on campus, as final meal counts must be submitted ahead of time.
Dietary accommodations will be communicated to the conference center, though accommodations cannot be guaranteed. For those who choose not to purchase a meal plan, there are several restaurants and grocery options available in town. Refrigerators are available in each hotel room.
Occupancy
Occupancy options include Single through Quadruple, as well as a Commuter option for those choosing to stay off campus. Pricing listed is without the meal plan.

Roommates
Attendees registering for double, triple, or quadruple occupancy may request roommates during registration. Please note that requested roommates must also list your name on their registration form. If no mutual roommate requests are provided, roommates will be assigned based on selected occupancy and gender.
Commuter Option
A commuter rate is available for those staying off campus. This option includes access to all retreat programming, with the option to purchase a meal plan separately.
Discounts
Ministers who attended the Spring Meeting in Raleigh will receive a 25% discount code.
Credentialed Leaders may request a 20% discount code. A credentialed leader is:
A Unity credentialed Minister, LUT, Certified Spiritual Educator, Spiritual Director, or other Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute or Unity Urban Ministerial School provided certificate
A minister ordained through another tradition currently serving in leadership in a Unity church/center
Youth and Young Adults through age 25 may request a 15% discount code.
