Congratulations to our North Texas LMSC Vice Chair Cindy Myer on being named this year’s recipient of the USMS South Central Zone Jesse C**n Award 👏🏼🎉

For over a decade, Cindy has dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy towards making Masters swimming an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. From serving in a variety of leadership roles within North Texas to advocating for our LMSC members, organizing local clinics and workouts, managing our LMSC’s Go the Distance program for the past nine years, and volunteering at countless events, Cindy is always the first to raise her hand, take initiative, and offer her support. Her passion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the North Texas Masters swimming community make this honor so well deserved.

Congratulations, Cindy! Thank you for all you have done and all you continue to do to support Masters swimmers across North Texas 🩷

ICYMI: Three North Texas Masters coaches will have the opportunity to attend this year’s USMS National Coaches Clinic through a full scholarship provided by the North Texas LMSC. Recipients will receive coverage for registration, travel, accommodations, and meals throughout the clinic weekend.

Long Course season is officially underway ☀️

We had a great time as Texas Ford Aquatics this weekend at our 5th Annual Summer Long Course Workout! Thank you to all of our North Texas Masters who joined us as we kicked off the long course season. A special thank you to NT coaches Lynn Morrison, Chris Jones and Jacky Merianos for leading the workout.

Onward to SMU! We hope to see many of you in July for .masters LCM invitational!

North Texas Masters of all levels are invited to join us in Frisco for this free event. Whether you’re new to Masters swimming or are a seasoned competitor, our coaches will be prepared to adjust the yardage and intensity to fit your abilities and goals.

This ain’t our first Rodeo — it’s our second 🤩

Our North Texas Swim Rodeo is back for it’s second year 🤠 Join us this summer for a virtual swim across the metroplex. Choose the 35-mile route from Dallas to Fort Worth or take on the Texas Two-Step and make a round trip - the choice is yours! Swim solo or as a team, and log your miles on our interactive map and leader board.

This event is open to all adult swimmers ages 18 and older. Register today via the link in our bio!

You must be registered by Memorial Day (May 25th) to participate!
