Buried history, unexpected truths, a few secrets and plenty to talk about. Our 2027 Greensboro Bound Book Festival will explore what’s beneath the surface, with authors whose stories give us good reason to keep digging.

We're delighted to welcome Hattie Aderholdt as the new Chair of the Greensboro Bound Board of Directors.

A lifelong reader, Hattie's love of books began with "The Mouse and the Motorcycle" and grew through favorites like "Little Women," "Rebecca," and "The Help." A Greensboro native and former advertising manager of "O.Henry" magazine, she brings both a passion for storytelling and a deep pride in our city's literary heritage.

Join us in congratulating Hattie as she begins this new chapter with Greensboro Bound.

This Banned Books Week, we stand with them and all authors in support of the freedom to tell their stories, and your freedom to read, question and decide for yourself.

A Pulitzer Prize winner is coming to Greensboro. 📚

Geraldine Brooks is an Australian-American journalist and novelist who received the Pulitzer Prize in fiction in 2006 for her novel March. Her novels People of the Book, Caleb’s Crossing, The Secret Chord and Horse were all New York Times Bestsellers. She will headline the Historical Book Club of North Carolina's Annual Town Meeting on Books.

Join GTCC • Guilford Technical Community College on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from noon-1 p.m. in Koury Auditorium on the Jamestown Campus for the All-College Read Author Visit with Ed Southern, editor and contributing author of The Devil’s Done Come Back, an anthology of North Carolina ghost stories and legends.
