Today marks one year of Kintura — and what a meaningful year it has been. ❤️

One year ago, The Well-Spring Group and Brightspire came together to form something new — not just a name, but a shared vision rooted in compassion, connection and purpose.

Over the past year, we’ve grown together, learned together and strengthened our commitment to serving older adults across our communities. Behind it all are the incredible team members who bring our mission to life each and every day.

We celebrated this milestone at the Management Services Office the best way we know how — together. With great conversation, laughter and, of course, tacos from Taqueria El Azteca 🌮

Here’s to one year of Kintura and many more ahead as we continue this journey with kindness, purpose and a shared commitment to those we serve.

What a special day celebrating the ribbon cutting of Milner Commons in Raleigh!

This beautiful new community brings 156 affordable homes to adults 55+ and honors the legacy of the former Milner Memorial Presbyterian Church. It was an incredible morning filled with meaningful remarks, great company and a shared commitment to creating welcoming, service-enriched spaces for older adults.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Misti Ridenour to the MSO office in her new role as Director of Home and Community-Based Services.

Many know Misti from her time as Executive Director at Well-Spring, where she spent years leading with care, compassion and dedication to residents and team members alike. In this new role, she will help expand Kintura’s mission by supporting older adults throughout the broader community.

After more than 30 years of service with the organization, we are excited to see what Misti will accomplish in this next chapter.

What a sweet surprise to start the day 🥞✨

A few of our amazing team members stepped up this morning and treated everyone to fresh, fluffy pancakes. The smell of warm batter and sweet toppings filled the office – talk about starting Thursday on a stack-tacular note.

Moments like this are what teamwork is all about – thinking of others and doing something kind just because.

Thank you, team. You really battered us with kindness, and the pancakes were delicious 💛

With more than 32 years of experience and a strong foundation in both finance and operations, Tim brings steady, mission-driven leadership and a clear vision for the future. His focus is on strengthening Kintura’s culture, investing in its communities, and building forward momentum that supports residents and team members alike.

The Kintura team is wearing red to help raise awareness and shine a light on heart health. This month is dedicated to promoting cardiovascular wellness, preventing heart disease, and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits for people of all ages.

A heartfelt thank you to our team for coming together with care and purpose to show support and help make a meaningful impact.

What a meaningful day. Kintura is proud to support our friends at Sanctuary House in Greensboro by providing a replacement transportation van after theirs was lost in an accident.

This gift is simply a small expression of our appreciation for the life-changing work they do every day. Sanctuary House supports adults living with mental illness by offering vocational training, social connection and daily living support that helps members build independence, confidence and community belonging.

Several of our team members were grateful to gather with the Sanctuary House staff and members to celebrate this moment together.

We are thankful for organizations like Sanctuary House who strengthen our community — and we are honored to walk alongside them in their mission.
