Triad Musicians Matter is proud to be Summer Solstice’s nonprofit partner again this year on Saturday, June 20, 2026. I am looking for a few more volunteers to sit at the TMM table during the Solstice for an hour or two. Time openings are from 2pm - 6pm. If you can let me know as soon as you can commit. You will get free tickets to the Solstice and I’ll be giving all volunteers more information on where to park, parking passes and where the table is as we get closer to the date. Thanks so much!

As I've said, we are phasing out the Guitar Resettlement Project. We have a few guitars left but are not taking guitar donations anymore. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to JR Luther of SE Systems who helped fix and restring the donated acoustic guitars to make them worthy of giving them to refugees! Thanks Again JR!
And when Helene hit Ashville, TMM sent 7 electric guitars up to Restring Appalachia for musicians in the region that had lost their guitars during the Hurricane and SE Systems donated 7 practice amps and guitar chords. SE Systems have helped TMM immensely over the years. Thank you so much to all of you at SE SYSTEMS!

I’m sorry to say TMM will be shutting down the Guitar Resettlement Project due to lack of refugees settling in the Triad and the US for that matter. Thank you to all of you who supported that arm of TMM and donated guitars. We are not taking anymore guitar donations and the few we have left we will find new homes for.

Thank you to all of you who have donated to TMM. We’ve given financial grants to 27 musicians in the Triad and a few got two grants and the board voted to include widows and widowers last year. Originally we had excluded any of the board members of TMM, who are musicians as well or are administratively priceless from getting grants and I stopped that exclusion this year. I am still excluded as it should be but the board should not be excluded and now they are not. Thank you again for your generosity in supporting TMM.
