| Due to observed icy conditions in some parts of the county and continued freezing temperatures, GCS will be closed for students on Tuesday, Jan. 7. All employees will report under Emergency Closing Plan A, using caution on the roadways.

Meals will be available to school-age children from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on a first come, first served basis at the following locations:

➡️Sylvia Mendez Newcomers
➡️Doris Henderson Newcomers
➡️Rankin Elementary
➡️Union Hill Elementary
➡️Jamestown Elementary
➡️Ragsdale High
➡️Andrews High

Meals must be eaten on-site.
