Strong networks don’t happen by accident. Like a thriving garden, they require thoughtful planning, consistent care, and the right systems to help people grow and flourish.
In this interactive session, nonprofit community engagement professionals will explore practical strategies for building and managing networks that create value for both individuals and the organizations we serve. Participants will learn how to move beyond simply collecting contacts to intentionally cultivating meaningful relationships, fostering engagement, and creating sustainable communities of support.
Through real-world examples and actionable tools, we'll examine how to design systems that nurture connections, encourage participation, and strengthen organizational impact without overwhelming staff or volunteers. Whether you're managing advocates, volunteers, partners, alumni, or community members, you'll leave with fresh ideas and a practical framework for helping your network take root, grow, and thrive.
Because when we network like gardeners, we don't just grow our lists. We grow a stronger Guilford County.
Facilitated by staff from Guilford County Partnership for Children + Guilford Nonprofit Consortium + Triad Goodwill
