We come from different places with different stories. We celebrate the diversity of our human family and the unity of our call to love and justice. I am a gift.

Different is not less. Reclaiming the value of every body. You are a gift. Salvage Garden believes in the inherent worth and beauty of every body. All individuals have an intrinsic value. Among our branches of service, we host The Banquet: A Sensory Worship Experience. The Banquet is an ecumenical gathering where we tell stories with our bodies, using all our senses. We welcome silence and noise,

stillness and movement. Not a salvage yard, a Salvage Garden. Beautiful things are growing. Salvage, a noun or verb:
the act of saving anything from danger or perils; the property so saved; the value of what has been recovered; to retrieve, recover, reclaim or restore. Garden, also a noun or verb:
a piece of ground or other space, commonly where flowers, shrubs, vegetables, fruit or herbs are cultivated; used as a park or recreation area; a fertile and delightful spot or region; to lay out, cultivate or tend a garden.

Beeing community at Salvage Garden with friends from Peacehaven, too. Peace bee with you and you and you! Fingerprint bees, a honeycomb craft, and a small fan helped us explore scripture and the gift of the Holy Spirit. A spirit that moves in mysterious ways. Sometimes gentle, sometimes fierce. Sometimes sweet, sometimes with a sting.

You'll find all of them at Salvage Garden's booth by the stage on the left at Family Support Network of Central Carolina's Unite Festival at LeBauer Park. We enjoyed the festival in 2025. Looking forward to sharing how Salvage Garden is reclaiming the value of every body.
