Matt’s setting signs for today’s Out of the Garden Project Fresh Mobile Market!

Last month, the market served 144 families! As community needs grow, the Hope Hub brings Kellin’s mental health and substance use counseling, peer support, and wraparound services together with community partners to connect people with resources for everyday needs, including food and housing, that help them build stability and heal. We’re grateful for the community support that makes this possible.

Need food assistance? Out of the Garden makes getting help easy! Come today, noon to 2 p.m. Enter through the gravel lot off 4010 Walker Avenue in Greensboro. Exit at Holden Road.

Today we’re celebrating Greg and Tammi, Kellin Foundation’s Peer Support Specialists, for Global Peer Support Celebration Day!

Greg and Tammi have a gift for connecting with the peers they serve. By listening and drawing on their own lived experience, they help people feel understood, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in their recovery.

Through individual support, groups, and wellness classes, they’re an essential part of our care team, alongside counseling and wraparound services that help people access food, housing, and other everyday resources.

Good company, plenty of appreciation, and our best wishes for Pam Morford! We gathered for a retirement party to thank Pam for all she contributed as the Kellin Foundation’s Director of Finance and Grants.

Her work helped sustain the services our community counts on, and we’re grateful for the care and dedication she brought to Kellin.

Every child deserves safety, connection, and a future they can look forward to.

Kellin Foundation was glad to join the Guilford County Family Justice Center to celebrate 10 years of Camp HOPE. As part of the Camp HOPE community, we value the opportunities it gives children affected by violence and trauma to build friendships, gain confidence, and imagine new possibilities.

The celebration reflected a commitment we share: helping children and families heal, build resilience, and find support in their community.

Congratulations to the Family Justice Center and the campers, staff, mentors, and supporters who make Camp HOPE possible!

Join the Resilient Guilford Network and Guilford Community Care Network on October 7 for a practical training focused on recognizing and responding to strangulation.

Strangulation can leave few visible signs, but it is a serious indicator of escalating violence. Sonya Desai of the Guilford County Family Justice Center and a Greensboro Police Department officer will share what professionals and community partners need to know to recognize warning signs, understand the risks, and respond appropriately.
